9 Days Left: Last Second Service
Sunday, 8 December 2013 --- Today was my last second service at Gereja Presbiterian Orchard (Orchard Road Presbyterian Church) in Singapore. I felt sad now because when the people here were already a family for me, I had to leave them for good to Indonesia. I had so much quality time doing services at GPO in Persekutuan Wilayah (Region Fellowship) West, Persekutuan Komisi Keluarga Muda (Fellowship of Young Families Commission), and Eklesia Choir. I was so blessed could be a part of this church. At the first time coming to this country, I had no idea what I could serve You, o Lord. I was His servant that was weak and small. I wanted to join the fellowship at GPO. For these three to four months, apparently, I could join the fellowships I mentioned above. I really thanked to all what I have experienced in God, my Savior.
This afternoon, in today's service at GPO, Eklesia Choir presented a worship song that we had practiced it since the beginning of November. The song entitled Advent Prayer. My choir was conducted by Dana. He was good in conducting us. My choir wore blue toga costumes which meant that we had to sit in the altar. We did our warming up at 1 P.M. then continued with practicing the main song. I was so homy here. All Eklesia members were like my family. They were so kind and willing to help me. I was full of limitation. However, with their great voices and skills, I could adapt and socialize within members. My great impression joining this choir was when we did our caroling services for the elderly people. I was so touched and felt blessed because of that activity. Moreover, when many of us were young. Thank you for this warmest togetherness. Thank you for our memories recorded by Jerry too especially our singing today that could be found at youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvlPq2yVeao . See you all next week in our Eklesistmas at Ms. Ratna's house.
Be blessed and be blessing.
Cheers,
Natalia C.
