7 Days Left: Not Much But Weighted

Tuesday, 10 December 2013 --- I did not know why in counting down my days here I felt sad and did not want to do many things. Today, I chose to study at home to write my paper. Not much I wrote but it was okay. At least I have started writing it and would add more and more in the coming days. Hopefully, before I left this country, I could submit it to my mentor, Mr. Willy Ardian Renandya.  Some paragraphs I have written and still need many paragraphs to complete my paper. I did not know, Mr. Willy, it was hard to start writing and think what to write. By using mind mapping, I was helped to start writing my paper and to organize the ideas to write. Here, I showed two (2) of my mind mappings as outlines for writing a paper I hope could be published later. The first mind mapping was the outline for whole main points for my paper; however, the second mind mapping was the outline for one (1) main point or idea to support my paper for the second thoughts.

Roles of Mind Mapping on Pre-, During-, and Post-Reading Activities

Constructivism from a book entitled Lenses on Reading

Like the title of this posting, there were not much things I did today. However, I kept giving thanks to Lord for His guidance and love through people around me. I was afraid to go out too for thee two (2) days because of the riots in Little India where actually it already be handled by Singapore police and government. But still, as a foreigner and as a person who looked like Indian (Pastor Persang said so), it would be not comfortable to walk here and there in this country. I was afraid to be asked or investigated too, even in the reality probably not. I felt quite convenience now to start my activities at campus tomorrow morning. I planned to go early morning to campus so than I have much time to scan two (2) great books that I have borrowed last week and checked how great these books to be scanned. These books would be helpful for me in teaching young learners to read and love books, and also about mind mapping...my favorite technique of reading and writing. Hope tomorrow would be better day than today.

Be blessed and be blessing.

Cheers,
Natalia C.
