3 Days Left: The Blessings of the Other

Saturday, 14 December 2013 --- This morning, I woke up very late because I felt that I would not go anywhere but packing. Fortunately, I got a phone call from my pastor, Pastor Abraham Ruben Persang. Mrs. and Mr. Persang invited me to have an early dinner at Takashimaya at 3 P.M. What an honored! Then, we met at the front of Takashimaya. We went together into Takashimaya and had our early dinner at the Crystal Jade. It was a wonderful dinner with the people who already became  a family to me. There, Pastor and Mrs. Persang gave me a present of a great book entitled A Sweetness to the Soul. I thank God for His bless whom already made me and Pastor Persang family knew each other and became like family. I pray to God to keep leading Pastor Persang in his services, Mrs. Persang in her pregnancy, and Khasdo in his study.

After eating, we went to the Takashimaya atrium which already full of Christmas SALE! We spent our time there about 30 minutes and after that, Pastor Persang, Mrs. Persang and Khasdo went home while I kept going to Kinokuniya, a big bookstore in Singapore. I was so happy because finally I found Reader's Digest and National Geography in English. In bookstores in Surabaya, it was hard for me to find these two kinds of English magazines. All of them had been translated into Indonesian language. I thought that I wanted to subscribe these magazines when I had arrived in Indonesia. Then, I went home about 6.30 P.M. from Takashimaya.

When I had arrived home, I tried to call SilkAir, my flight this Monday to Surabaya, Indonesia. Since this morning, I called and called but the line was so busy. However, tonight, waiting for the busy line about 10 minutes, finally I got the connection and I could ask this airlines about my baggage allowance. I heard that started in the beginning of this December, SilkAir gave 30 kilos of the Baggage allowance even I was economy. Huh...finally I got the answer and I could pack my things well. I saw that I brought so many small things but if they were collected become one, I was afraid that my baggage would be more than 20 kilos. Thank you Lord for the definite answer I got.

Be blessed and be blessing.

Cheers,
Natalia C.
