8 Days Left: Sad and Happy News

Monday, 9 December 2013 - Early morning, I woke with a very shock news from Pastor Persang who was worried about me. He asked me via BBM whether I was okay or not and where I was this morning. I thanked for his attention of me. Apparently, knowing from him that there was a riot in Little India last night at about 9.30, some cars were burnt, and the mass broke five (5) policemen cars. However, then came more than 300 policemen in to the riot place. Pastor Persang was afraid if I was on the street and met policemen, I would be investigated because my face was looked like an Indian. He said that I was like Syah Rukh Khan's cousin. What?! Yes, but very far. Hahaha...first he was so serious about the riots then he made a joke on me. Thank you for Pastor Persang who had told me about the rare situation happened in Singapore. I must take care of me. I planned today to study at home, instead.

At noon, I called my family in Sidoarjo telling that I was okay. The riot had been taken care seriously by the police and Singapore government. The reason why I did not go to campus and chose to study at home because I had borrowed ten (10) books from the library. The library level 4 where there were placed English Language Learning (ELL) books was closed because of re-carpeting. That was why, it would be better for me to keep staying at home and studying in my room. In my calling, I was told a very happy news from Kakak Audrey who had received results from three (3) subjects of her final exam last week. Her Social Science was 91, Javanese 98, and Christian Religion 96. I was so proud of her. Thank you God for Your guidance and leading towards Audrey who at the first few days of her final examination, she was not in a healthy condition. She got a very heavy coughing. She had tried her best and those are the first three results which were satisfying. Thank you, Kakak Audrey.
