5 Days Left: Last Day, Much Bless
 |
God Bless you & Ronald, Felis. |
Thursday, 12 December 2013 ---Okay, for this writing, I wanted to say that God has blessed me a lot. This day I started not in my schedule exactly but still could reach campus about 10 A.M. I had a plan to alight at MRT Boon Lay and sold my 100 US dollar in to Singapore dollar. Then, I took Bus 179 to stop at LWN-NTU library to buy NTU shirts (again?). However, that plan changed. In the MRT, when it stopped at Chinese Garden, Felis (a good friend I have in Singapore) took the same carriage with me and I did not alight at MRT Boon Lay and so on just like what I planned. Felis was the one who sent me message about the place for me to buy NTU shirts with its big written on the chest. Meeting Felis who studied at NTU at that time made easier to find the shop which sold the shirts in the library because she must know NTU so well. Then she accompanied me to go to the LWN-NTU library to buy what I was looking for. That was why both of us alighted at MRT Pioneer and took Bus 179 easier because closer with the MRT. Done! I got two (2) lady's shirts of NTU, red and blue navy.

Mr. Tan, Mr. Rahim, & Mr. Song |
This day was my last day coming to National Institute of Education (NIE), NTU, Singapore. On this time, I tried to maximize my efforts to say goodbye to many people I knew so well. After scanning 2 good books, I went to the library to say goodbye to Mr. Rahim and Mr. Song who I have not met for a week (I had met Mr. Tan yesterday and gave him a little souvenir.) and it was my time to farewell. Mr. Song did not come to campus; thus, I just met Mr. Rahim. I gave him and Mr. Song a little souvenir which I hoped both of them would love it. When I shook Mr. Rahim's hand and asked his bless to pray for me, I cried. He was so surprised and asked me to stop crying because there were many CCTVs in the library and later people thought that he did something wrong to me. Then, I tried to hold myself to not cry. I was so happy and blessed meeting kind and caring people like him and his coworkers. Take care ya Mister-Mister. I do believe God loves me and will give me time to come to Singapore again. I will come here and meet you all.
I continue my journey today to Woodlands. I had a special meeting with Yudiana Tristano or I called her YenYen. She was my ex-boss last time when I worked at Universitas Ciputra (UC) Surabaya in August 2006...exactly the first time UC built in CitraLand, Surabaya. We were in the same room and taught English together with Konsita (Chien-Chien) for handling 250 students in UC 1st batch. I was happy working with YenYen and got a lot of things I could learn. Probably we only worked for a year then after she was married with Gavin, a Singaporean, she then moved to Singapore until now. Since then, she worked at Republic Singapore (RP) until now. She loved teaching. She was a great lecturer and mentor. Last night, she invited me for dinner at Chinese restaurant at Woodlands. Six (6) years I had never met her, and last night when I saw her, she was just like before, a tall woman with a very slim body. When I could be like your body ya, Yen? Hehehe. We had delicious dinner and a lot of sharing about family and living in Singapore. Thank you so much, YenYen. I wish you blessed family, work and services.

YenYen & Me tried to find a good angle :D |
At 7.15 P.M., after parting with YenYen, I continued my plan to meet Bu Anna in front of Tangling Mall to see the Snow which came up every day at 8 P.M. Unfortunately, I could not reach that place at 8. Bu Anna who was there since 7.45 could enjoy that moment. Otherwise, the snow came out at 7.45 till 8 P.M.one time in the weekdays and two times at the weekends, 7.45-8 and 8.30-8.45. I felt pity did not see it. However, when I reached that place and met Bu Anna, I saw that it was not 'snow' made from ice, it was bubble. No wonder, many kids already wore their swimming suit because they knew that they would be wet. And it was so crowded at that moment. Ohhh...I thought it was 'snow' from ice. I was glad then. So, in an hour, Bu Anna and I used our last meeting in Singapore with taking photos as many as we wanted. Thank you Bu Anna for your kindness and love as long as we both together here in Singapore for the same scholarship. If I might see the past, last July, I thanked God that I did not join the debriefing by DIKTI in Malang because I was still in holiday in Bandung and Jakarta. Then, my university where I studied (State Univ. of Malang) informed that I should join the debriefing and there were two more schedules left, in Medan and Jakarta. I chose Jakarta, July 6, 2013. I greeted you at the first time when we had lunch together in the hotel restaurant. I thought what if I did not sit one table with you and Bu Diana (to Korea) and greet you, I would not know that you were also in Singapore. I was thankful for it. You said that you were accepted at National University of Singapore (NUS). Since that day, we communicated until both of us arrived in this country...even I came a week faster than you. So, I would be leaving this Monday, 16 Dec and you on Dec 24. Well, Bu Anna...I wish you great last days here in Singapore and hope you graduated soon when you came back to IPB Bogor (Bogor Agricultural University). I would pray for you, Bu Anna.
