12 Days Left: I Gave My Gratitude

Thursday, 5 December 2013 --- Going to campus this morning was just fine. The sun shone brightly. When I went through Gallop Apartment on Farrer Road to the MRT, I took photos the that shone between the trees. It was so beautiful. The trees were also large and lush. The day was so peaceful and brought me to the spirit of doing and finishing my paper. Then, I arrived at the library campus. For the first two hours being in the library, everything was great and I could do my reading. I gave my gratitude to God because of the nice weather, and my heart and spirit to do my task well that morning.

However, few minutes before having lunch, I got news from my husband if Audrey, my first daughter, was sick and got a high fever. She did not go to school which meant that she did not join her fourth day of the final exam. She was so sick and I was so sad knowing it. I should be the one who took care of her in this situation but I could not do it. I wish I could hug her and give my greatest attention only for her. Nevertheless, I just could hope in my prayer for her healing. I gave my gratitude to God for His love and help. My sister-in-law was a doctor and she was there for me. She took care of my daughter. She was the one who wanted Audrey to stay at home, take a lot of rest, and be treated by medicine and her love. At noon, Audrey ate Nasi Soto for two plates. WOW! She was also treated to drink water much. Betrice also did not want to miss it too; thus, she ate also only two plates of Nasi Soto. Hehe. In the afternoon, Audrey got better and better, and already started learning Maths. This Friday, her final exam would be Maths. In addition, she would continue doing the exam of Science and Art, Culture, & Skill which were delayed because she was sick and absent.

I would like to utter my gratitude for His grace taking care of my daughter, me, and my family wherever they are.I would love to end up my writing by singing a song entitled "I Give My Gratitude."
