30 Days Left

Sunday, 17 November 2013 --- It is the day for me to pray and to have fellowship together with Indonesian Christian friends in church. Even I am not permanently staying in Singapore but servicing God wherever I am will be my devotion worshiping Him. That is why, I join Eklesia Choir at Gereja Presbiterian Orchard (GPO). Today, we performed our song entitled "Speak to My Heart". At 1 P.M., the choir got together to warm up and practice before performing. We sang it nicely exactly before Pastor Ayub Yahya gave his last sermon.

Almost 7.5 years, Pastor Ayub Yahya has become a pastor of Gereja Presbiterian Bukit Batok (GPBB) at Bukit Batok, Singapore. He is moved to Melbourne, Australia for the next 5 more years servicing Indonesian people there. He has been a great pastor here that because of his servicing, many people are blessed. He told us today in his message and impression that his dreams are to keep doing his services in Indonesia, make a school of writing, have a TV station; however, God still puts him outside of Indonesia. He believed that God has a great plan for his dreams especially for Indonesia.

This late afternoon, I got a shock news that the other pastor's wife of GPO, Mrs. Persang, had to know that her youngest sister died in the hospital at 3 P.M. (4 P.M. in Singapore) in Sidoarjo, East Java. R.I.P. Luhi Aprilita Bara Pa. She was still young and sweet. She was still about 30th. I still did not know exactly the reason of it. Because Mrs. Persang's sister stayed with Mrs. Bara Pa (Mrs. Persang's mother) in Sidoarjo in the same area of my home, so my husband and all presbyters there have handled for the evening consolation.

I have learned today that people will have time their to come and go.Today, there were two persons I knew that left to different places. One was leaving to continue his services in other country; whereas, the other one was leaving for good to heaven. May God bless and love both of you.

Be blessed and be blessing.

Regards,
Natalia C.
