Christmas at NIE

"Christmas at NIE" was celebrated last night (Wednesday, 13 November 2013).

I am blessed to be around this Christian unity at National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. I met new friends in Christ and we all were supporting each other especially in celebrating Christmas last night. Amazingly, two of those who I knew knew so well about our country, Indonesia. They were Clint & Camarine.

Two thumbs for Clint who ever studied technology & history in Sidney University where one of his Australian professor taught him about Indonesia history in deep. That professor (& some of his colleagues) could speak Indonesian fluently. I was so surprised he could tell me the history of Soekarno, Hatta, Soeharto, and many more. He knew that Surabaya was called as HERO city. He ever visited our heroes cemeteries in Yogyakarta, Solo, and some parts in the Central Java. Do I do it too? I am not sure.

Camarine ever studied at National University of Singapore and took Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian language) course just servicing our God. She told me last night via email that she would love to practice to speak and write Bahasa Indonesia so then she would not get easily forgetting it. She learned Bahasa Indonesia is to help Pastor who always go to Bintan for missionary trip. It is so pleased of me to help her. That's why, since last night, Camarine and I spoke and wrote emails in Bahasa Indonesia.

Some of them also ever visited Indonesia as well. Delphne, some of her secondary students, and Ministry of Education (MoE) Singapore on this coming Monday will go and visit Bandung, West Java about 6 days. They will do such kind of study tour, I think.

Finally, I would like to close my posting by thanking GOD for this opportunity and for introducing me with those wonderful people, those who are faithful and serve you sincerely. May GOD bless all of our servicing wherever we are.

God bless you too, Readers.

Cheers,
Natalia C.
